udrive Driving Instructor - Ged Dickinson

Hi everyone

I am a Grade 5 Approved Driving Instructor with over 10 years experience.  Originally from Sunderland I moved to Nottinghamshire in 2006 after meeting my wife.  Prior to this I was a Transport Manager in the manufacturing industry for 15 years.

I joined U Drive MSM in November 2011, bringing my vast experience and knowledge not only as a Driving Instructor but also as a Caravan and B+E Instructor.  I also offer the Pass Plus course to newly qualified drivers to help aid their further learning and confidence.

I have an Audi A1 which I enjoy driving and feel it is a great car for new drivers to gain confidence as it is a manageable car to drive.

I also have experience in teaching young adults with Special Educational Needs which I find very rewarding.

I am an avid football fan (Sunderland) and would play every night of the week if only I was 10 years younger, but sadly I can only manage one night a week.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends caravanning in the great outdoors, cycling, walking our Border Collie and of course BBQs and the odd bit of socialising.
