udrive Driving Instructor - Sarah Wood

Hi I'm Sarah and I really love being a driving instructor - it gives me the opportunity on a daily basis to pass on skills & knowledge to my pupils which will enable them to be safe & confident drivers.

I've been driving for 21yrs having passed first time when I was 17yrs and I have gained alot of driving experience along the way, Once I made the decision to become an instructor I joined a national driving school and followed their instructor programme. Once I qualified I soon decided I wanted to join a more local driving school and luckily for me Udrive was looking for an instructor - the rest, as they say, is history !!

I am really passionate about safe driving and probably get a little bit too excited when a pupil masters a new skill they've been working on but thats what keeps lessons fun and interesting - if you are relaxed and happy you will learn and remember more!!

Finally to finish up then, a little bit about me - I'm mum to my 7yr old son, Austin, I enjoy getting to the gym when I get the time and I keep saying I really must get back to doing some running again!! 2011 is going to be the year that I progress from the pillion on my Suzuki Bandit to the licenced rider, it's a work in progress so watch this space !!
