Rick Carter has all of these qualities and so much more when it comes to his students. Sam appeared within my driving learning experience almost by accident because my longstanding instructor left to pursue other job opportunities. I was left, just weeks to go before my test feeling…well, you can imagine.

Despite my forebodings, facing a new instructor and a new car, Sam not only dispelled my fears but I am now convinced that, without Sam, I would not have passed (and passed first time, rather well in the end, even though I say so myself). She offered a selection of new perspectives on manoeuvres, new knowledge on recognised routes and a sense of calm and composure that was just perfect for that nervous last couple of weeks before the test. Her humour, proactive and positive approach to learning to drive was typical of her clear-headed methodology. She is a credit to Udrive.

After a period without lessons following a bad experience, I started driving lessons with Caroline.
Booking lessons was easy as caroline is very accommodating and easy to talk to.
Immediately I found the atmosphere of the lessons much more relaxed and comfortable than previous instructors, which lends itself to a calmer, more productive lesson.
Progress isn't rushed however if ready to move on, you are not held back like I have found with numerous past instructors

I passed my test this week! My instructor was Ged Dickinson, and I couldn't of wished for a nicer bloke. From my first lesson Ged made me feel at ease in the car and explained everything in an easy to understand way. Every lesson he had time and patience. Everything he taught me made sense. Now I've passed my test the only down fall is not having a lesson with Ged anymore. I dare say Ged could teach anyone to drive. He is amazing at his job !!!

After months of hard work with Ross it finally came to my test date. The night before, he had a emergency, and Sam came to my rescue. I was feeling very nervous and anxious of doing my test in a new car with a new tutor, but as soon as I got in the car Sam instantly made me feel very relaxed, as she had a very friendly attitude towards me which was a big help. My test then got cancelled and my instructor sadly decided to leave, so having no doubts I decided to continue with Sam and was the best decision I could have made. Having had several lessons with her she really helped with the things I was unsure about and instantly fixed them with her amazing sticker idea. I then passed first time with only 3 minors and I can honestly say I couldn't have done it without her. Hmmmm... what to say About Glyn and Udrive??? Well........... It took some persuading to make me want to start lessons , I had seen Udrive around and checked them out online. Love the fact you can choose your own instructor especially being female. So i picked Glyn..... best decision ever! I started with Vik having already had a number of lessons back home and I wanted to pass my test whilst a university. I chose Vik as he was recommended to me by a friend and I'm glad that I did. I had covered all aspects of the test so was just looking to polish up and learn the local area. Vik explained the things that I was struggling with really well and made all of the manoeuvres a lot easier to understand and kept them really basic. Vik was also able to fit lessons in around my busy engineering degree and soon had me up to scratch and I sailed through the test. I would definitely recommend Vik to a friend who is looking to learn to drive.=

After learning with another instructor a few years ago i gave up after failing twice, then i started lessons with Ben Cannon and he was incredibly friendly, flexible and made the re-learning easy. Even when i was freaking out he had full confidence in me! i passed first time with Ben and with only 4 minors :D

the difference was he was teaching me to drive not to pass my test which makes a big difference because now im driving my car about and im not worried about a thing :)

Sam Snape has been my driving instructor for UDrive after my previous instructor became too busy to fit me in. After being off the roads for a few months, I was quite nervous to get back into the driving seat, however after meeting Sam and instantly becoming very comfortable with her, I started to become a lot more confident in my driving. I've had two more driving instructors, and suffice it to say, none have helped more than Sam. She definitely is one in a million. When I passed my driving test (with only one minor--all thanks to Sam) I became aware of the fact that I would not get to see Sam on our regular Tuesday slot. We had been talking casually about going through the pass plus process and now I know that I will definitely be contacting her so i can further my driving experiences. Sam showed me that I needed confidence in myself and that I can do anything I put my mind too, not only has she taught me to drive, she's given me some valuable lessons that I am grateful for. In the short period I was with Keith he boosted my confidence massively. My previous experience was in an intensive driving course which put a lot of pressure on myself and in the end created mistakes in my previous tests. I failed both of these making stupid errors possibly due to the 3 hours pre test driving lessons. Keith's relaxed and positive style caters for anyone because instead of focusing on the negatives he highlights what your good at! Which inspires confidence and allows you to show your skills.

My experience with Paul Marshall was a very good one. This is due to his relaxed and easy to follow teaching style. i found that if i needed help Paul would give me constant tips to help me which improved not only my driving but my confidence during lessons. His teaching ethos is good as he will explain things to you in depth and also will ask you on a regular basis how you are feeling on what you have learned and if you have any questions, this makes you feel at ease knowing that if you have any worries or queries you can always ask him. He is easy to get along with and uses visual aids to help your understanding of tasks and overall driving. Paul was an amazing teacher in my experience he helped me immensely. I passed first time, i felt that this was all due to Paul as he not only taught me but he made me more confident about my own driving abilities. I am very grateful for all that he has done for me and wont forget it. He is probably the best driving instructor that you could wish to come across. This is not only my personal view but a few of my friends that Paul has also taught share my feelings on Paul as a teacher. I found him a great teacher, and i have passed his contact details on to many of my friends so they can experience the same as me. Once again i cannot thank him enough for everything.

"When I decided that I wanted to learn how to drive, I had no doubt in whom I wanted to learn with. Two years previously, Glyn and UDrive helped my sister learn how to become a very skilled and safe driver.

Glyn is an excellent teacher. He is patient, understanding and a genuinely very optimistic person to be around. I thoroughly enjoyed my driving lessons with Glyn who made the daunting prospect of learning to drive very relaxing. Our lessons would be full of laughter - mostly at my expense. This did teach me that you have to be able to laugh at yourself to learn from your mistakes, of which I had many!

My driving lessons with Glyn gave me so much confidence in my driving and a highly doubt that I would have passed first time if I was learning with someone else. This is not an exaggeration; my parents told me (after I passed) that before I started my lessons with Glyn, they were adamant that I would never get any better!

Without a doubt, I would (and do) recommend Glyn and UDrive to any first time driver. Thank you so much Glyn with your patience and perseverance, especially when I struggled telling my left from my right!"

Well, fab instructor never felt like you was always picking faults. You mentioned things that needed doing in order to improve and never lost your temper no matter how many times you had to tell us. Can have a laugh with you even if you did repeat your self and ask me three times if i had a dog. Easy to get along with and to make conversation with so it dont feel awkward. Plus you always seamed chirpy :) boom! Hows that? Im not good at this praising lark, its just not my style!=

To put it simply, I couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor than Sarah Wood. She made everything so simple, tried her best to fit my lessons around me and had the patients of a saint with my constant stalling. I had great fun learning to drive with her, like her laughing at me for not breathing when I got nervous, ha ha, it made me relax and enjoy the whole experience even more. Sarah explained the manoeuvres very clearly and anything I wasn't sure of she had all the answers to my many questions. Can't forget to mention that I passed first time with all Sarah's help. My advise for any learner driver is, be patient, keep calm and listen to your instructor. You will get there, some how everything suddenly clicks into place and I hope you have an amazing instructor like Sarah. Happy learning and thanks again Sarah, couldn't have done it without you.

' I passed my driving test first time yesterday and couldn't be more grateful for the support and brilliant teaching from Peter Broad. With each lesson I felt more and more confident with my driving and was given the best advice to conquer areas that I found difficult and was always reassured that I could succeed.
 
    A highlight would be learning how to reverse around a corner, which I thought would be extremely complicated but Peter's advice was clear and thorough making you feel great with every step you master.
    I would highly recommend driving lessons with Peter and I know his past first time successes would feel the same. I can't thank him enough and will always appreciate his patience and encouragement.

When organising lessons Jon was very flexible and always reliable. Glyn is the BESTEST driving instructor in the whole wide world. I managed to pass on my first attempt a few days ago and it is without a doubt all down to Glyn. Even when I told him that I’d never be able to drive, he always had every confidence in me. He was patient, calm, understanding...and also pretty hilarious! Changing the time or day of my lessons was never a problem for him.
I have loved every minute of learning with U Drive and couldn’t recommend Glyn highly enough to anyone wanting the best driving experience. I will really miss my lessons!:)
I haven’t been passed long but having a free slot on a Thursday evening definitely does not feel right:P Thank youuuuu!:D

My experience with Udrive was very enjoyable, easy to start up the lessons and you really couldn't get a better driving instructor than glyn! Very accommodating in relation to changing

days/times of lessons. I also had lots of breaks in-between driving lessons (up to 6 weeks at a time) and this was fine with Glyn. I wasn't the most confident learner but Glyn was very

calm and patient and manages to make a negative into a positive somehow!  He  makes driving enjoyable with his random chatter about random things haha :) He also makes sure you

 know your driving theory and will go over anything you are uncertain of time and time again...:)

Overall, extremely good instructor who will persevere with a pupil like myself who can't seem to get the hang of maneuvers...

Would defo recommend Glyn and Udrive to anyone looking for their first driving experience. A big thank you for helping me pass my test by the way!

U Drive msm put me in touch with Jane having failed my first attempt at the ADI PART THREE. Jane did a full assessment and then looked at the weakness which had caused me to fail first time - She knew exactly which areas to target and was absolutely spot on as eight weeks later I retook part three and passed with ease. I have just passed my driving test with UDrive and wanted to thank Mark for the expert tuition he gave and the laughs we had along the way, Mark was always patient and understanding, (even when things turned south!).

I never felt pressured into doing something I was not capable of doing, and if Mark detected a weakness he iscolated it immidiately, in a professional yet comfortable manner, so I never fell into bad habits. After each lesson we would spend a few minutes reviewing my performance and I was given advice on areas I needed to improve to maximise my performance so I could spend my lesson time learning rather than ironing out creases.

Mark was great not only to learn under but to talk to, he always made the lessons enjoyable and I would gladly recommend U-Drive and Mark to anyone who wants to learn to drive.

Thank you so much to Nikki!! She is an amazing instructor and made learning to drive fun, she is chatty and friendly and I will miss my driving lessons! She was really laid back which made me more comfortable and confident when I was driving and I even managed to pass first time! :) Nikki was really flexible with days and times of my lessons which made it much easier for me. Thank you again!! I miss my lessons already even though I’ve only been passed a week :)

I absolutely loved driving with Nicola and would definitely recommend her to anybody. When I first started driving with her, she took me on country roads which I never thought I would feel confident in doing but I was so happy to have proved myself wrong. I initially started out with another instructor who sat me down and explained for an hour where I should position myself on the road but Nicola is the complete opposite and taught me whilst I was driving which is a much more effective way of learning and if I ever made a mistake, I made sure that I never did it again. Driving from experience rather than words and diagrams is so much better, and I was able to do that.

In the winter, she took full advantage of the bad weather and took me out on bad conditions and showed me what I should do if my car ever started to skid and with winter soon approaching, I know that I will be able to put into practice what she taught me if the situation arose.

Unfortunately, I failed my driving test first time due to a major mistake which really knocked my confidence but Nicola told me not to worry and put in for my next driving test straight away and said that I shouldn’t give up. I wanted to do my test as possible so put in for my test in Grimsby and I passed. Now, I feel that I am a confident driver, of course I still have a lot of room for improvement which I will gain from experience, but I feel that Nicola put a lot of that confidence in me. If I did something wrong, she made me do it again repeatedly until I did it right. I would whole-heartedly recommend her to anybody because she’s easy to get along with and therefore I enjoyed driving with her.

Jeni learnt to drive in Lincoln with Driving Instructor Glyn :-)

I am so pleased that I had Glyn as an instructor he was absolutely brilliant. He had a lot of patience and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. Not only is he a great instructor, but hilarious too, you can be sure to enjoy your driving lessons and have a good natter! I would highly recommend Glyn as an instructor!! Thankssss sooooooooo much for helping me pass my driving test!!

having recently moved to Lincoln i was looking to pass my test as quickly as possible,getting around was quite a hassle,having tried BSM two three times and not getting any response,i was recommended udrive,along came BEN!!! i had a wonderful driving experience with him(even some camel jokes!!!) and eventually passed at my first attempt,many many thanks to ben for having taught me.

I’ve just passed my test through U-Drive MSM. I firstly wanted to say what a brilliant experience it was to learn to drive through your company. My instructor Mark was very helpful and it was a pleasure to learn.

I did not ever feel nervous or distressed and even when I made mistakes Mark always kept composed and very professional. He kept detailed logs on what we had done and what mistakes had occurred in the lesson and gave me copies so I could improve my driving in my own time. Mark was polite, cheerful and friendly and I enjoyed not only learning to drive but talking to him. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.

I would recommend U-Drive, specifically Mark to any of my friends and family as he did an excellent job.

My experience with U Drive was excellent and I enjoyed every minute, i found it very easy to start up my driving lessons
even though I was extremely nervous. You as an instructor was very flexible and understanding with me swapping days and times.

Only been passed five days and I am as confident as ever and I have to thank you for your expertise and teaching
me so well.

Enjoy teaching many more pupils and i will probably see you out and about with new students! I will be beeping
in my Blue Peugeot 206 ha ha.
