Its this time of year when driving test are more likely to get cancelled due to the bad weather. The decision doesn’t lay with the U Drive driving instructors. We want all pupils to be able to do their driving test especially the pupils have built them up to the special day. But sometimes our hands are tied and DVSA make that decision.
Official wording from the DVSA:
Your safety is our main priority. We won’t carry out a driving test when adverse weather presents a safety risk to those involved. These conditions include:
snow and ice
fog
flooding
Staying in touch
If you think your test may be cancelled due to severe weather conditions you should phone the local test centre as soon as possible.
